National Center for the Analysis of Healthcare Data: Vision

Mission

… to provide data mapping and analysis support of your advocacy, medical education planning/expansion, research, and other healthcare workforce planning using both your data and ours which includes the nation’s most complete collection of healthcare providers data, demographic, socio-economic, and political data.

Focus

  • Annually update the National Healthcare Workforce Database and provide access to it through our mapping products/services, data download, basic presentation, consulting/data research services, and an interactive mapping application (planned for the future)
  • Identify partners to ensure that the quality and availability of this data is utilized to its fullest capacity, including our provision of the many healthcare providers to become the basis of the federal Health Resources Services Administration’s Bureau of Health Professions’  Area Resource File
  • Work with state and national partners to improve the quality of the nation’s healthcare workforce data
  • Support state, regional and national Healthcare Policy and advocacy research and other initiatives
  • Provide maps and analysis using your data integrated into our workforce, shortage designations, political boundaries, demographic, socio-economic data
  • Data Research and Spatial Analyses using both our data and yours
  • Mapping/Data Resource for Medical Schools, Research Centers, Policy Centers, state and national healthcare profession associations/societies
  • Providing consulting services on the value that your data may bring to your profession through integration with our data and to the generation of maps and spreadsheet analysis
