Ann K. Peton is the Director, Center for Rural Health Policy, Education and Research and the National Center of the Analyses of Healthcare Data (NCAHD), located at the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM), located in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Ms. Peton has over 20 years experience managing, coordinating, and/or facilitating GIS (Geospatial Information Technology) projects and training in support of public, non-profit and private healthcare, governmental and environmental organizations and associations. Her dedication and passion to the application and education of others as to the value that mapping and other technologies may provide within rural America, has made her a much sought after consultant, speaker and trainer.
